Bannock Bread

  Ingredients
1½ C flour
½ tsp salt
1 Tbsp baking powder
2 Tbsp butter, melted
¾ C water

Directions

  1. Stir together flour, salt, baking powder.
  2. Pour water and butter over the top.
  3. Stir with a fork to make a ball.
  4. Turn out onto lightly floured surface, knead about 10 times.
  5. Pat into flat circle 3/4 to 1 inch thick. Or make a few smaller pieces.
  6. Fry in a greased pan over medium heat, 15 mins per side.
