Ingredients | |

2 lbs | frozen cherries |
1 | juice from lemon |
2 Tbsp | pure vanilla |
1 C | sugar in the raw |
1 C | amaretto |
Directions
- Boil sugar in 1 C water to dissolve.
- Mix everything together in a big mason jar, using enough amaretto to cover the cherries.
- Settle in the fridge for 3 days.

- Sugar variety substitues: demerara, turbinado.
- These simple syrups are great for old fashions as well.
- Could add in a cinnamon stick too.
